FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

I offer individual and couples counselling and psychotherapy. My services cover a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress management, and personal growth. I also have a specialism in ADHD.

Counselling often focuses on specific issues and is usually short-term. It provides a supportive environment to explore and resolve these issues. Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is typically longer-term and delves deeper into emotional difficulties and patterns of behaviour. Both approaches aim to improve mental health and wellbeing.

You can book an appointment by clicking the booking link, calling me, or sending  an email. I will schedule a consultation to discuss your needs and arrange a suitable time for your sessions.

During your first session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking counselling or psychotherapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have. This session helps me understand your needs and determine the best approach to support you.

Sessions typically last 50-60 minutes. The frequency and duration of therapy will depend on your individual needs and goals, which we will discuss during your initial consultation.

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of the counselling and psychotherapy process. What you discuss in your sessions will remain private, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or where disclosure is required by law.

Yes, I offer both in-person and online counselling sessions to accommodate your needs and preferences. Online sessions are conducted via a secure video conferencing platform. - Zoom.
